Earlier this week, there was a near unanimous town meeting approval vote to turn the 46-year-old Route 53 mall into an open area retail space. Voters were excited by the news and many realized how helpful this would be for the Hanover and South Shore community. The "pop up" restaurant will be in the Fort Point/Seaport location through September, allowing tourists, locals, and those who don't want to make the "trek" to Southie a chance to taste some delicious summer treats. The building, which is 165 years old, underwent many restorations to keep the charm of the original classrooms but will also accommodate beer drinkers. The bar will include 12 taps, seating, as well as a seasonal outdoor patio. In the future the brewery hopes to bring food, music, art, and other community events to the new space. There is still a lot of work to be done, and we don’t know the specifics of the types of beer that Untold will produce. Sources say it will be beers that the team loves to drink including IPAs, pale ales, stouts, and porters. Stay tuned as the story
